I’ve worked with a variety of mediums throughout my career, ranging from ceramics to acrylic paints, colored pencils, Copic markers, colored inks. My favorite medium in which to work is ink (generally sumi, but others as well). I love the feel and depth of the line. I like how when you run your hands over the paper, there’s a subtle ridge. I’m most drawn to bright colors, but have been working on refining my use of color and finding the most visual pleasing for myself and others.

Over the years, I’ve also adapted to coloring my line-work digitally. The versatility and ability to experiment with color, change things without losing the original lines, has been in many ways very liberating. This sampling of my work combines all these elements of growth. Some are pieces for myself; others are commissioned works.
